HK Kitchen & Draft House is a lively bar & grill spot nestled on E Tremont Ave in the Bronx, offering a laid-back yet energetic atmosphere that suits both casual dinners and group outings. With a menu that blends classic American comfort food with some bold, flavorful twists, the place feels welcoming without trying too hard, making it a solid choice for local gatherings or a relaxed evening with friends.

The inside space has a warm, inviting design that encourages hanging out — whether you're settling in for a burger and beers or sharing a round of wings and nachos. The vibe manages to feel both buzzing and approachable, making it enjoyable for everything from after-work drinks to weekend get-togethers. You’ll often find families mixed with friend groups, and the management clearly goes out of their way to accommodate dietary needs or kids, which is a nice touch reflecting the neighborhood spirit.

The food here caters well to those who appreciate hearty portions and straightforward flavors. Standout choices include the HK Burger and Fries, which strikes a familiar but satisfying note, and the Lobster Roll for a slightly elevated option. The menu's variety allows folks to mix and match from wings to tacos to mac and cheese, supporting a casual dining experience where sharing plates feels natural. The Mac and Cheese Sampler, in particular, draws attention for offering comfort food with a bit of playful variety.

Drink-wise, this isn’t just your average bar. Their margaritas earn positive attention, adding some personality to a classic cocktail lineup. The beer selection complements the grilled and fried dishes well, rounding out the meal without fuss.

Best times to visit are probably early evenings or weekend nights when the energy picks up, but the atmosphere remains comfortable enough to have conversations and unwind. The staff’s attentiveness further enhances the experience, with several locals noting the friendly and accommodating service as a standout feature.

Overall, HK Kitchen & Draft House fits nicely into the Bronx’s diverse dining landscape as a casual neighborhood spot where you can count on solid food, decent drinks, and a welcoming space that makes dining out feel both effortless and enjoyable.

The food was excellent. Nice portions. The tacos were delicious. The wings were great. The pasta was very very tasty. All the food was really really good. The service was attentive. The ambiance was very down to earth. The prices were absolutely reasonable. I will definitely dine here again.

It was my second time here and I honestly only went cause my friend was craving a burger and she has gone here a couple of times. The first time she brought me I definitely didn’t like it. Only because my friend ordered nachos with ground beef & it was gross! My second time I decided to order their grilled chicken hero with avocado and well done bacon with their HK sauce on the side along with a cup of mayo and chipotle mayo with truffle fries. I really enjoyed their grilled chicken on a hero! The Hk sauce had too much of a kick for my tastebuds so that’s why I asked for other sauces just incase. The truffle fries were great! My boyfriend and friend enjoyed their burgers and we all really enjoyed the mozz sticks!! They weren’t over fried and the cheese tasted perfect! Sadly their coke fountain soda tasted really flat so I stuck to my water! My waitress wasn’t really around too much so that was a little annoying but thankfully the food was good. We were expecting diff genres of music but R&B was playing and not the throwbacks all in all I would def come back for the mozz sticks and grilled chicken hero.

Overall a great evening . We went as a party of 10, they catered very well to my 3 year old and to my husband’s dairy allergy . But honestly it was the manager who made the experience amazing , he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Great margaritas! Will be back!

The atmosphere here is absolutely buzzing—it’s one of those places that just makes you want to relax and soak in the good vibes. Whether you’re in the mood for a tasty meal or just want to kick back, this spot has you covered. And I can’t recommend the Mac and Cheese Sampler enough; it’s out of this world! The space itself is really well designed, creating a cozy and inviting environment that makes your experience even better. Plus, with TVs scattered around the bar, it’s a great place to catch the big game. Can you imagine the excitement during the Super Bowl here? You definitely want to be part of that crowd! And let’s not forget the staff. Bartender Ashley really shines; she’s got a laid-back vibe and attentive service that makes you feel right at home. This place is truly a hidden gem—make sure you check it out!

Sunday brunch with the kids Atmosphere was kinda meh at first, but the food + our waiter (wish I remembered his name!) totally turned it around. Baseball on TVs by 1'ish it started to get crowded. I had a sangria carafe (yes, in a plastic pitcher...to myself— don’t judge lol) for $25 not bad and it was sooo good and my daughter tried a piña colada — more slushy than smooth, but still decent. MUST TRY: the Korean cauliflower bites. Deep fried, tossed in sweet sauce… absolutely delightful. Would definitely go back.
